Author Guidelines
Introduction
Authors are invited to submit high-quality, original research, reviews, and case studies related to all aspects of anesthesiology and perioperative medicine. The International Journal of Clinical Anesthesia and Research (IJCAR) follows the ethical and editorial guidelines set by COPE, ICMJE, and WAME.

General Submission Requirements
- Manuscripts must be submitted in English through the online submission system or via [email protected].
- All submissions should be accompanied by a cover letter outlining the significance of the work.
- Only original, unpublished work not under consideration elsewhere will be accepted.
Formatting Guidelines

Manuscript Structure
- Title Page: Include title, authors’ full names, affiliations, and corresponding author contact details.
- Abstract: Structured abstract (250–300 words) summarizing background, methods, results, and conclusion.
- Keywords: Provide 4–6 relevant keywords for indexing.
- Introduction: Describe context, objectives, and study rationale.
- Methods: Provide sufficient detail for replication, including ethical approvals and consent statements.
- Results: Present findings with appropriate tables, figures, and statistical data.
- Discussion: Interpret the results and relate them to previous studies.
- Conclusion: Summarize key findings and future implications.
- References: Follow ICMJE citation style.
Authorship Criteria
Authorship should be based on substantial contributions to conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research. All authors must approve the final version before submission.
Ethical Considerations
- Studies involving human participants must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki.
- Animal studies must adhere to institutional and national ethical standards.
- Ethical approval number and institutional review board (IRB) details must be included.
Conflict of Interest Disclosure
Authors must disclose all financial or personal relationships that could influence the research outcome. A Conflict of Interest Statement should appear at the end of the manuscript.
Plagiarism and Originality
IJCAR strictly enforces originality. All manuscripts are screened using iThenticate or Turnitin. Manuscripts with similarity above 15% may be returned for revision or rejected.
References and Citations
References should be numbered consecutively in order of appearance and cited in brackets [ ] within the text.
Figures, Tables, and Supplementary Data
- All tables and figures must be cited in the text in sequential order.
- High-resolution images (300 dpi minimum) must be provided.
- Supplementary data should be uploaded as separate files with clear captions.
